Last week Sparkfun turned ten. It seems like they've been around for ever and it makes me wince just a little bit that Nate started Sparkfun about 6 months before I started phenoptix! Maybe I should have bitten the bullet a little sooner and gone full time earlier.
Sparkfun is an inspirational company and I was very lucky to have a beer with Nate in New York this year where he shared his secrets for success. He said make more and that's what we're going to do this year. We spent a lot of money on other people's products last year and this year we'll be spending a good deal of money developing our own products.
Congratulations to Sparkfun on their anniversary and thanks for all the inspiration you've given us.
